The project
Auckland City Council has over 150 buildings that require fire protection testing, compliance inspections and maintenance. As a public organisation, the Council cannot afford to have anything less than 100% compliance and 100% effective fire protection.
The role of AFS Total Fire
AFS Total Fire were awarded the testing and maintenance contract for all Auckland City Council buildings in a hotly contested tender process. As the incumbent service provider, AFS Total Fire could prove previous experience, service levels and the necessary capability. AFS Total Fire maintains a close working relationship with the Council. Operational staff visit Council premises at least weekly, while management level meetings take place every month.
